Best way to clean mould and mildew on tiles and grout lines.
Mould and mildew buildup can be very stressful, this is a very common problem in all bathrooms especially around baths and inside shower enclosures. I will share with you the best method of cleaning your tiles while protecting the tiles from damage or discolouration.
What you will need:
Empty spray bottle.
White vinegar.
Water.
Natural fibre bristle brush.
The method;
1) You will need to mix a solution of 1 part vinegar 1 part water, pour this into your spray bottle and ensure the solution is completely mixed together.
2) Spray the affected area ensuring the solution has even coverage.
3) Leave the solution to soak for up to 1 hour; this will work on breaking down the mould and mildew.
4) Take your natural fibre bristle brush and scrub the affected area to remove the mould and mildew.
5) Rinse well.
For heavily affected areas you may need to repeat this process.
